It usually takes up to 3-5 weeks to obtain Police clearance certificate (Certificate of no criminal record). The Certificate is issued in English or in Russian after getting Information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and does not require apostille. The certificate is free of charge.
To obtain a Police clearance certificate you should submit to the Consular section of the Embassy the following documents:
- Application for obtaining Police clearance certificate;
- Your valid current passport;
- Self-addressed return envelope with a stamp (if you’d like to receive it by post).
